Effective October 3, 2026
What this covers
This policy covers leadingbeacon.com. When a dealership uses Leading Beacon to talk to its own buyers, the buyers’ information is handled under our agreement with that dealership and the dealership’s own privacy notice.
What you send us
When you ask to join the founding fleet, the form sends us your name, your dealership, your work email, your phone number if you give it, the problem you chose and any message. We keep it in our database to reply to you and to follow up about Leading Beacon.
How the site is used
We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies, to see which pages are read, roughly where visitors are, and on what devices and browsers, so we know what’s useful and what isn’t.
Technical data
Our hosting (Vercel) and our network (Cloudflare) handle the technical data every visit carries, such as your IP address, to deliver the site and keep it safe.
Kept on your device
The site remembers a few choices in your browser’s local storage: whether sound and the voices are on, the sea trial’s sound, and your best sea-trial time. They stay on your device and are never sent to us.
What we don’t do
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for anyone else’s advertising. The voices in the story are recordings: nothing you do on the page is sent to an AI service.
Who handles it for us
Vercel (hosting, and the form), Turso (the database the form writes to), Cloudflare (network and security) and Google (analytics). Each handles it on our behalf, under its own terms.
How long we keep it
What you send through the form, until you ask us to delete it or we no longer need it to talk with you about Leading Beacon. Analytics data, for as long as Google Analytics is set to keep it.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser, or install Google’s opt-out add-on to stop analytics. You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, through the form on our home page.
Children
The site is for businesses. It isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We’ll update this page when what we do changes; the date at the top says when it last did.
